Inclusion Criteria: * Diabetic macular edema * Criteria for visual acuity and macular thickness are met Exclusion Criteria: * History of glaucoma * Known steroid-responder * Use of systemic steroids * Use of Warfarin/Heparin * Other protocol-defined exclusion criteria may apply
