Sex: ALLMin age: 18 Years

Inclusion Criteria: * patients with persistent AF listed for first time catheter ablation Exclusion Criteria: * age \< 18 years * pregnancy * contraindications to procedure * recent myocardial infarction, coronary intervention, or cardiac surgery
