Inclusion Criteria: * gestational diabetes mellitus diagnosed between 12-34 pregnancy weeks if normoglycemia is not reached with diet Exclusion Criteria: * hypertension with pharmacological treatment or preeclampsia * multiple pregnancy * liver or kidney disease
