Inclusion Criteria: * children between the age of 6 years and 18 years with the diagnosis of asthma who are attending the outpatient pediatric department, pediatric allergy clinic Exclusion Criteria: * patients who have chronic pulmonary, heart disease, chronic renal failure, liver disease, endrocrine disorder, or receieve antiepileptic drugs, vitamin D supplement
