Eligibility

Sex: ALLMin age: 18 YearsMax age: 65 Years

Inclusion Criteria: * age between 18-65 years * intentionally injured in community violence. * admitted to a Level 1 trauma center * able to provide voluntary informed consent Exclusion Criteria: * under the age of 18 or over the age of 55. * not fluent in the English language * patients with suspected mental retardation or active psychosis as determined by brief clinical screen. * patients currently in legal detention status
