To evaluate the experiences and satisfaction of patients who underwent awake intubation.

Eligibility

Sex: ALLMin age: 18 Years

Medical Language ↔ Plain English

Inclusion Criteria: * Be eligible for awake intubation * Agree to participate in the study * Be aged 18 or over Exclusion Criteria: * Having communication difficulties. * Patients requiring emergency surgery. * Refusing to take part in the study.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

An assessment of patient satisfaction and experiences with the procedure in patients undergoing awake intubation using a questionnaire.

Participants rate the questions on a scale from 1 to 5. A score of 1 is interpreted as 'very poor', and a score of 5 as 'very good'.

Time frame: 24 hours postoperatively
