the study find out the effect of oral and intra ligamentary piroxicam on the post endodontic pain . it tell us which one is better among both methods of using piroxicam

post endodontic pain is very common and it effect the quality of life of patients. piroxicam reduces the perception of pain . it is usually prescribe as oral medication but out study evaluate the effect of intra-ligamentary use of piroxicam to reduce post procedure pain.

Inclusion Criteria: * Patient diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis * Patient have Tooth pain before Root canal treatment Exclusion Criteria: * Patient already treated with root canal * Necrotic Tooth

Primary Outcomes

pain intensity

Pain intensity will be measured by Visual Analogue scale(VAS). Patient will advised to rate there pain intensity from 0 to 10 after 12 hours, 24 and 48 hours. So both groups patient will record there pain in number and report to dentist in follow-up visit.

Time frame: 12, 24,48 hours
