This study aims to explore the relationship between spinal alignment and functional performance in individuals with upper cross syndrome following a combined breathing and manual therapy program. It is designed as a secondary analysis of data obtained from a previously conducted randomized controlled trial, with the addition of objective spinal measurements using the Spinal Mouse device. Functional performance will be assessed using standardized tests such as the 6-minute walk test and the timed up and go test. Statistical analysis will include correlation and regression models to determine whether spinal alignment parameters can predict functional outcomes. The findings are expected to provide insight into the biomechanical role of posture in functional recovery among individuals with upper cross syndrome.

The experimental group will perform ujjayi pranayama and osteopathic manipulative treatment for 45 min sessions, 5 times a week for 8 weeks
control group will perform osteopathic manipulative treatment only for 45 min sessions, 5 times a week for 8 weeks
Spinal Alignment: Thoracic kyphosis
Kyphosis is the forward curvature of the thoracic spine. It will be measured by The Spinal Mouse ( a hand-held, computer-assisted medical device used to measure spinal curvature, posture, and segmental mobility without radiation )
Time frame: Pre and post 8 weeks
Spinal Alignment: Lumbar lordosis
inward curvature of the spine when this curve becomes excessive or diminished, it can lead to discomfort and postural issues. It will be measured by The Spinal Mouse ( a hand-held, computer-assisted medical device used to measure spinal curvature, posture, and segmental mobility without radiation )
Time frame: Pre and post 8 weeks
Functional Performance: 6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT)
a clinical exercise test that measures the total distance an individual can walk on a flat, hard surface over a period of 6 minutes
Time frame: Pre and post 8 weeks
Functional Performance: Timed Up and Go Test (TUG)
measures functional mobility and fall risk. It records the seconds it takes a person to stand up from a standard armchair, walk 3 meters (10 feet), turn around, walk back, and sit down again
Time frame: Pre and post 8 weeks
