Clinical Evaluation of Immediate Dental Implants in Very Elderly Patients.

Inclusion Criteria: * Patients aged 80 years or older requiring dental implant therapy following tooth extraction. * Patients who desire dental implant treatment and provided written informed consent. * Patients with sufficient systemic health to undergo minor oral surgical procedures. * Patients willing and able to comply with scheduled follow-up visits and maintenance programs. Exclusion Criteria: * Uncontrolled systemic diseases (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, severe cardiovascular disease) that contraindicate oral surgery. * History of radiation therapy to the head and neck region. * Current or past use of intravenous bisphosphonates or other medications associated with osteonecrosis of the jaw. * Severe active periodontal disease in the remaining dentition. * Heavy smokers or individuals with severe parafunctional habits (e.g., severe bruxism) that may jeopardize implant integration. * Patients unable to attend regular follow-up appointments.
