This case-control study aims to measure serum endocan levels in patients with colorectal cancer and healthy controls using ELISA and to compare the levels between the two groups.
Colorectal cancer is a major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality. Circulating biomarkers such as endocan may provide useful information about disease characteristics. This observational study will include newly diagnosed colorectal cancer patients and age- and sex-matched healthy controls. Serum endocan levels will be measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) before any treatment.
